Sandwich tern from Pomorie at Giraud, France

Sandwich tern (Sterna sandvicensis) hatched in 2012 at Pomorie Lake colony and ringed on 26 June the same year have been observed at Piemanson, Rhone Delta in France on 28 April 2014. The site is in the proximity of Saline de Giraud. Same bird was observed also in Italy on the Western coast at Marina di Pisa on 14 March 2014 and further north at the mouth of Serchio River just few days ago on 20 February 2015.

The observation is another link between two of the sites of MC SALT project - Camargue in France and Pomorie Lake in Bulgaria.
