COMMON TERNS OCCUPY

PLATFORMS AND ISLETS CREATED WITH SUPPORT OF LIFE MC SALT

Monitoring of results from conservation measures implemented at Pomorie Lake within LIFE MC SALT project has brought first positive news. Since beginning of June Common terns have occupied and started breeding at platform and islets created by Green Balkans NGO volunteers in the past two years. We were happy to count more than 80 pairs at one platform and two of the islets!

We are looking forward for a successful breeding season of the water birds at Pomorie Lake!
