Completion of water bird habitat restoration

During the period 21 - 25 October activities at Pomorie Lake for restoration of habitat for water birds were completed. With the participation of volunteers from Bulgaria one islet and one nesting platform have been created. All these facilities aim to improve nesting and resting sites for waders and terns. Thus all planned facilities in the MC-SALT project for Pomorie Lake are already created.

We hope that these will be liked by the target species and they will occupy the created facilities in the next breeding season in the spring of 2014.
